Singapore Traditional Games

In the 1950s to 1980s, Singaporeans engaged in what we now called the “traditional games”, where neighbours and friends gathered to play physical, outdoors, and hands-on games during their free time. Such playtime used to be part of the lives of many Singaporeans and forms a key part of our identity and history.
We can bring these games into your event to share with participants about the brief history of these games and guide them how to play the games. This will be able to bring back many fond memories for Singaporeans who have lived through the post-independence period while allowing younger Singaporeans to interact with our favourite old pastime!
The games that we offer, include but not limited to:

Five Stones

Pick Up Sticks

Zero Point

Hopscotch

Goli / Congkak

Kuti Kuti

Spinning Top

Snake & Ladder

Paper Ball

Chapteh
